How this demo site works
This site is a fictional team management SaaS. It hands everything subscription-related to ProAbono, as your own product would. When you sign up, you play the part of one of your customers.
What is fictional, what is real
The line is the same as in your product: your SaaS keeps its business logic, ProAbono handles the subscription.
A team management tool
- Projects, team members, calls and document signatures are simulated for the demo.
- No real product behind the interface: it is the setting in which the subscription takes place.
Everything subscription-related
- Your customer record and your free trial, created through the API at sign-up.
- The plans, quotas and usage of each service.
- The price shown before every change.
- The customer portal: plan change, payment, invoices.

Start a free trial
When a customer signs up, a customer is created in ProAbono and a new free trial subscription is started. It grants them the entitlements this subscription provides in ProAbono.

From “Projects” in the sidebar, if you try to add a project, you will be blocked, because your free trial does not give you the right to. The site reads the entitlements from ProAbono and blocks the addition.

A switch at the top of the pages toggles between what your customer sees and what the site does to show it. Try it on the Pricing page, no sign-up needed.

The site keeps its interface and its business logic. Everything related to subscriptions goes through ProAbono.

Before you sign up
Do I need to enter a real credit card?
No. The site is connected to a ProAbono sandbox account: payments are fictional and the forms are prefilled with a test card.
What can I do during the free trial?
The trial plan includes one project and one team member, with no way to add more, no usage and no support. Move to a paid plan, fictional too, to test the rest of the journey.
What happens to my data?
It is used only to simulate the journey and is fully deleted on a regular basis. You can ask for its immediate deletion: see the privacy policy.
Does this SaaS really exist?
No. Its services are simulated; only the subscription, quotas and billing are real, handled by ProAbono.
Do I need a ProAbono account to test it?
No. Signing up creates an account on this site; the site then registers you as a customer in ProAbono.
Can I do the same in my product?
Yes: one script for the plan grid and the portal, a few API calls for entitlements. The developer documentation covers each step.
